Mammy Bears Books 10 May 2018 · Continuing my posts on illustrators' of Fairy Books, today I feature Arthur Rackham. He was one of the leading artists in this field from around 1890 to 1936. Rackham's work is still immensely popular today and reprints are still in production. His work is often described as a fusion of "Nordic" style strongly influenced by the Japanese woodblock tradition of the 19th century. For me, he is the best. I adore his work.
