Mammy Bears Books 18 July 2018 · Let's look at Nursery Rhyme Books... a topic that has inspired hundreds of artists to produce stunning interpretations of the age old rhymes. Nursery Rhymes were usually accompanied by a game or a dance, when sang by children. Whether you love the classic illustrations of Mother Goose by Kate Greenaway, Randolph Caldecott, Walter Crane or Arthur Rackham or more modern counterparts; Beatrix Potter, Hilda Boswell, Rene Cloke, there will be an illustrator that strikes a chord with you. Some of my favourite 'modern' illustrators are Anne and Janet Grahame Johnstone, Eric Kincaid and Nicola Bayley. Nursery Rhymes Books don't have to be ONLY for children, we adults can delight in them too
