Mammy Bears Books 26 August 2018 · And now for something completely different... War Novels I have a selection of war novels based during WWII. Most are classics, if that term refers to this genre. Most being made into a movie. My favourite read was "Schindler's Ark" by Thomas Keneally, however "Bamboo and Bushido" by A G Allbury was very moving. I do have a few non-fiction books relating to this field such as "The Gatling Gun" by Paul Wahl (not WWII ofcourse) and "D-Day" by Dan Van Der Vat.
