Mammy Bears Books 7 October 2018 · One of my all time favourite books are the Brambly Hedge Series by Jill Barklem. She captures the essence of the British countryside in her wonderful illustrations. Her detailed pictures transport you to the summers that were always warm and bright; the winters that always had white crisp snow; the spring full of bluebells and cowslips and autumn with its piles of red and yellow leaves and woodsmoke. The Four Seasons are captured in her four little books; Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. A 'Four Seasons' edition was also published in 1988. A poster edition was released in 1990 aswell as a Pop-up edition 'Brambly Hedge Through the Hedgerow' in 1993. You can find these and many more on my website
