Mammy Bears Books 23 March 2019 · Looking at Illustrators... My all time favourite living illustrator for childrens' books is Quentin Saxby Blake. Reknowned for his fabulous illustrations of Roald Dahl's books, I first discovered his wonderful work in John Yeoman's "The Bear's Water Picnic"...I was hooked. One of my personal favourites is "The Great Piratical Rumbustification" by Margaret Mahy...a truly fun book, along with James Reeves "Mr. Horrox and the Gratch". I recommend ANY of his work for Roald Dahl, a treasure for children and adults alike
