Description:-Unpaginated London : Undated. however assumed c1900. Large Quarto. This is one of the Father Tuck's Panorama series. Card Illustrated boards; no dust jacket issued. Coloured chromolithographed beautiful fairy-tale settings containing numbered slots in which the corresponding chromolithographed figures can be placed. thus finishing the picture. Stated on the back board - "A variety of scenes. however. can be formed. and unending pleasure provided. by placing the figures in innumerable positions. and sometimes in one picture background sometimes in another. so that constant change and interest is obtained". 16 chromolithographed numbered cut-out figures. COMPLETE SET ALL ORIGINAL ALL PRESENT - these can be housed in a pocket in the back board when not in use; creasing to No. 2 - Little Red Riding Hood. Book condition: Edges have a little wear; back flap is torn but no losses; name and address on the back board - ""Joan Ball. Hall Street. Alderley. Brisbane"". written neatly twice in blue-black ink; pages loose; remains of blue paper repair tape to foredges of 2 pages. The text of the stories is printed on the verso of the panoramas. A wonderful RARE book from a bye-gone era; remembering. that a book such as this would have kept children occupied for hours: Image is ALWAYS of the ACTUAL BOOK: Book and or Jacket may have names. dedications. marks. tears. foxing. browned pages. creasing and losses unless otherwise noted
